  • Robert J. Whiting

Robert J. Whiting (RJ) served for 18 years in the Army and 109th Infantry of the National Guard. He served during the Korean War. Hands down, the most patriotic man I know, he was born on the fourth of July, wears an American Flag pin on every hat he owns, and proudly displays the flag at his home.

  • John J. Serafin Jr.

My father, John Serafin Jr., is a WWII Marine veteran having served with the 6th Marine Division in the South Pacific theater of operation in 1944 and 1945 and there after served in a peace keeping role in China before coming back to the states and being Honorably discharged in 1946. While serving in a rifle platoon he saw service in the fighting for the Battle for the Island of Okinawa and was wounded, receiving a purple heart for his efforts in the battle. I believe that he embodies all of the traits and characteristics of that "Greatest Generation" of men who fought and died for the freedom we ALL now enjoy in the greatest country on earth.
