Trunk or Treat Fun
November 1st, 2016
Over 1500 goblins, superheroes and princesses and their parents packed the parking lot as Kingston Borough police and firefighters hosted their Halloween Trunk or Treat in the parking lot of HKQ Law. Held on October 29 from 5-7pm, families enjoyed a safe evening of Halloweening as area businesses decorated their vehicles and filled their trunks with candy and giveaways.
HKQ Law gave away Halloween Safety coloring books and crayons that remind kids and their parents to be safe while trick or treating, and HKQ Kids gave away flashlights to help keep them safe on Halloween night and every night.
Parents enjoyed music by Frankie Warren of Magic 93, as well as peace of mind, knowing their children were enjoying a few hours of socializing, Halloween treats and giveaways, and showcasing their costumes. Employees from area businesses were dressed in costume to add to the festivities. Businesses participating included: HKQ Law, HKQ Kids, Hazleton Early Intervention, Cohen and Haydu Chiropractic, Ayman Omar Flooring, Wilkes-Barre, Macaroni Kid, Just Breathe Wellness Studio, Brighter Journeys, Back Mountain Dental, Jae Nam Training Academy, Eye Care Specialist, Dairy Queen, Jodi Patton Tax Services, Kingston Lightening Youth Soccer, FNCB bank, Young Professional Network of Realtors, Wee Care Nurses, District Court 11-1-05, Peoples Security Bank and Trust, Sennett Enterprises Inc, River Run Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, C&C Abstractor, Jack Williams Tire, Impressive Auto, Details, Main Consignment, Kingston Historical Society, and Hidy Ochiai Karate.
