Kluger, who manages HKQ’s Commercial Law Department, spoke on the topic of estate planning and trusts for landowners who have derived income by leasing their land for gas exploration and extraction. The community forum, which was sponsored by Wells Fargo Advisors on behalf of the Greenfield Gas Group, was held last month at the Heart Lake Lodge in Scott Township.
A panel of experts, including Kluger, spoke on a variety of topics, including the potential impacts of gas drilling on drinking water, estate planning and trusts, investment planning and managing royalty income, and tax implications of oil and gas leases.
