Kluger Named To St. Joseph's Center Foundation Board

Attorney Joseph E. Kluger has been named to the Board of Directors of St. Joseph's Foundation, which provides funding for St. Joseph's Center in Scranton. Kluger is a principal in the law firm of Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn where he manages the firm's Corporate and Commercial Practice Group.
Under the direction of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, St. Joseph's Center serves hundreds of people throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania every day with extensive residential and community-based programs for children and adults diagnosed with mental retardation; pregnancy, family and adoption services; and outpatient therapy services.

Kluger is a graduate of Wyoming Seminary, Hamilton College, Clinton, N.Y., and the Catholic University Columbus School of Law, Washington, D.C. In his practice at HKQ's main office in Kingston, he focuses on banking, corporate, business and finance, probate/trust and real estate law. He has served since 1992 as the solicitor for Luzerne County Community College and was an assistant district attorney for Luzerne County.
Named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in 2007, Kluger is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Luzerne Bank and serves on many boards including King's College, the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Business & Industry, the Luzerne Foundation, the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts,and Wyoming Seminary Preparatory School. He is a former board member of Mellon Bank, the American Cancer Society of Luzerne County, Catholic Youth Services, Leadership Wilkes-Barre Advisory Council, the Greater Wilkes-Barre Development Corp. and United Way of Wyoming Valley.
Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn, PC, headquartered in Kingston with offices in Scranton, offers a variety of legal services to businesses, banks, non-profits and individuals. The firm also handles all types of personal injury litigation, including medical malpractice, vehicle accidents and worker's compensation.
