HKQ Law Attorney Brian Stahl to Present to Veterans at Entrepreneurial Education Program

Attorney Brian Stahl, a Principal on the Business Team at HKQ Law will present to Veterans, active military and their spouses at the Wilkes Barre Chamber of Commerce Think Center’s “Boots to Business Reboot for Veterans and Military Service Members” on November 8th, 2018. Boots to Business (B2B) is an entrepreneurial education and training program offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as part of the Department of Defense Transition Assistance Program (TAP). The course provides an overview of entrepreneurship and applicable business ownership fundamentals. Active Duty Service members (including National Guard and Reserve), Veterans of all eras, and spouses are eligible to participate.
Attorney Stahl will address the various legal structures of a business and the opportunities and challenges associated with each and will discuss additional legal considerations impacting Veteran-owned businesses.
Throughout his career as a business attorney, Attorney Stahl has served as a resource for business owners, advising clients on various business and real estate issues including contracts, shareholder and partner disputes, employment disputes, tax assessment litigation and real estate development.
