June 20, 2016 - Kingston, Pa. - For the second straight year, Attorney Joseph A. Quinn, a founding member of Kingston-based Hourigan, Kluger, and Quinn, P.C. (HKQ), was named one of the Top Ten Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. Quinn is once again the only non-Philadelphia lawyer to receive this prestigious distinction.
Of the approximately 50,000 attorneys in Pennsylvania, only 5 % earn the right to be designated ASuper Lawyers. To attain Super Lawyer status, attorneys must be first nominated by fellow lawyers throughout the state and then they must withstand independent scrutiny of their professional accomplishments and peer evaluations. Quinn's recognition among his peers as one of the preeminent personal injury trial lawyers in the Country, his reputation for tirelessly pursuing justice for his clients and his proven track record of success has once again earned him inclusion on the elite list of the Top Ten Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.
Under Quinn's leadership, HKQ's Litigation Team has won nearly $500 million in verdicts and settlements, including some of the largest verdicts and settlements in Pennsylvania, on behalf of clients injured in all types of personal injury matters, including medical malpractice, car and truck accidents, unsafe vehicles, dangerous or defective products and insurance bad faith.
When notified of his selection, Quinn stated: "I am obviously honored to be included again this year on the Super Lawyer's Top Ten List. More important than any personal achievements, however, it is truly an honor and a privilege to continue to be entrusted by clients throughout Northeast and Central Pennsylvania to protect their interests and fight for the justice they deserve. Through the talent, hard work and dedication of our entire team at HKQ, we have been fortunate to have helped make a difference in the lives of so many people injured as a result of someone else's negligence. That is what continues to motivate me."
