Safe Ride For Kids

August 11, 2016 - WNEP - Pennsylvania’s new car seat law takes effect on Friday, August 12, 2016.

To break down the specifics on what the new law means for parents, Newswatch 16’s Ryan Leckey teamed up HKQ Kids, the Luzerne County non-profit dedicated to keeping children safe.

The organization is associated with the law offices of Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn based in Kingston. Police officers from Kingston also joined Ryan on Newswatch 16 This Morning.

The pros tackled everything from potential fines to proper sizing of car seats.

According to the new law, children must be rear-facing in a car seat 2 years of age or younger. To learn more about the specifics, head here!
