Quinn Named Top 100 PA Litigator By National Lawyers Group

January 9, 2013

Michelle Quinn Personal Injury Lawyer   Attorney Michelle M. Quinn, a litigation principal in the law firm of Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn, has been named a Top 100 Litigator in Pennsylvania for 2013 by the American Society of Legal Advocates.

The American Society of Legal Advocates is an invitation-only, nationwide organization of elite lawyers who combine stellar legal credentials with a proven commitment to community engagement and the highest professional standards.

As a leader of HKQ’s litigation team, Attorney Quinn has been instrumental in the firm winning many of the largest personal injury verdicts and out-of-court settlements in Northeastern Pennsylvania history. She also serves as the spokeswoman for HKQ Kids, a charitable fund established by the firm to promote child safety in the area.

“I am honored to be selected by the American Society of Legal Advocates because the selections are made by my peers,” Attorney Quinn said. “As a legal practitioner, it’s extremely gratifying when other attorneys recognize your efforts and successes.”

The American Society of Legal Advocates assembled a team of lawyers that spent six months researching tens of thousands of lawyers across the country and selecting less than 2 percent of them for membership based on an array of criteria. ASLA’s Top 100 Lawyers listing recognizes attorneys across the nation who possess “exceptional legal talent,” according to the group’s web site.

Attorney Quinn, who has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, is a past president of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, where she has served as chairwoman of the New Lawyers Section and Long-Range Planning Committee. She also has served as co-chairwoman of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Committee on Multi-Jurisdictional Practice, and is a member of the Luzerne County Bar Association.

Attorney Quinn concentrates her practice on medical malpractice, trucking litigation, defective product claims, and motor vehicle liability. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Dickinson College in 1991 and received her law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1994.

Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn, PC, headquartered in Kingston with offices in Scranton, is Northeastern Pennsylvania’s premier personal injury law firm.
