Law Firm To Sponsor Free Holiday Movie at Kirby Center

KINGSTON, Pa. – The law firm of Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn will sponsor a free holiday showing of the 2012 computer-animated Disney movie, “Wreck It Ralph,” on Saturday, Dec. 21, at the Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Wilkes-Barre. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. and the movie will start at 2 p.m. Pre-movie entertainment will start at 1:30 p.m. with a children’s sing-along and a juggler.

The movie is open to all families with children under 12 years old. It is the fifth year in a row that the law firm, headquartered in Kingston with offices in Scranton, has sponsored a free holiday movie at the Kirby Center. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Seating will be limited to the first 1,800 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Everyone attending the movie will get free popcorn and choice of water or juice. Children will receive free hats, gloves and art supplies courtesy of HKQ.

“We are pleased to be able to offer the community a free movie once again during the holiday season,” said Attorney Joe Quinn, a senior principal in the law firm. “Over the years, it has been so gratifying to see the children’s smiling faces and be able to bring some holiday cheer to hundreds of families from our area. We are eagerly looking forward to this year’s event.”

“Wreck-It Ralph” tells the story of Ralph, an arcade game villain who rebels against his role and dreams of becoming a hero. He travels between games in the arcade, and ultimately must eliminate a dire threat that could affect the entire arcade, and one that Ralph himself inadvertently started. The film features the voices of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch.
