KINGSTON, Pa. (Dec. 1, 2009) - In an effort to bring holiday cheer to families in Northeastern Pennsylvania during tough economic times, the law firm of Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn sponsored a free showing of the popular holiday movie "Polar Express" on Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Wilkes-Barre. Doors opened at 12:30 p.m. and the movie started at 2 p.m. It was open to all families with children under 12 years old. All children were accompanied by an adult. Seating was limited to the first 1,800 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Everyone attending the movie received free popcorn and choice of water or juice. Children received a free winter hat and gloves courtesy of HKQ. "We know that a lot of people in our area are struggling this holiday season," said Attorney Joe Quinn, a principal in the law firm. "The free showing of 'Polar Express' is a way for us to give back to the community and provide families with an opportunity to enjoy a memorable afternoon together."
