Quinn Instructs at Statewide Legal Seminar

Attorney Michelle M. Quinn of the law firm of Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn, P.C., recently served as an instructor for a continuing education seminar for lawyers from around the state.

The seminar, a mock trial titled “Trial of a Medical Malpractice Case,” was presented April 8 by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in Mechanicsburg. Ms. Quinn was part of the four-lawyer plaintiff's team, delivering the opening statement and conducting the direct examination of the plaintiff's expert witness.

The all-day program provided lawyer participants with 8.5 continuing legal education credits.

Ms. Quinn, a partner at Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn, is a member of the firm's Litigation Group and Executive Committee. She concentrates her practice on medical malpractice, trucking litigation, defective product claims, and motor vehicle liability.

She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Dickinson College in 1991 and received her law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1994. Ms. Quinn is immediate past president of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and has served as co-chairwoman of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Committee on Multi-Jurisdictional Practice. She has also served on the Pennsylvania Association for Justice's Board of Governors since 1999.
