Attorneys in the News — Richard S. Bishop
Marywood University was the setting on October 9, 2003 for the 2003 Northeast Pa. Pro Bono Seminar, which attracted attorneys from ten counties. Four CLE credits were offered for the full day program, sponsored by Lackawanna Pro Bono, Inc. and funded by a grant from the Pa. IOLTA Board, which featured a three hour session presenting strategies for defending residential mortgage foreclosures, a luncheon with a keynote speech by the Hon. William J. Nealon, an ethics program entitled "The Ethics of Pro Bono Traveling Roadshow", and a presentation providing nuts and bolts approaches to operating pro bono programs. Lackawanna County attorneys who served as presenters and panelists included Richard S. Bishop, Esq., Jack J. Brier, Esq., Michael E. Brier, Esq., Joseph A. O'Brien, Esq., and Mark C. Walsh, Esq. |
