As a result of "balloting, research and a blue ribbon review process", the Magazine selected the top 100 lawyers in Pennsylvania. A substantial number of the lawyers so selected were from Philadelphia. Attorney Joseph A. Quinn, Jr. was the only lawyer from Northeastern Pennsylvania selected within this group.

Attorney Quinn is also the only lawyer in the State, outside of the City of Philadelphia, who was inducted into the Inner Circle of Trial Advocates, a prestigious group of the 100 most prominent trial lawyers in the Country. Attorney Quinn has also been honored by being elected a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers over 10 years ago. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has been selected every year in the publication "The Best Lawyers in America."
