Kluger named to Chamber Board

Attorney Joseph E. Kluger, practice manager of the corporate and commercial practice group at the Kingston law firm of Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn, was appointed a new member of the board of directors of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Business and Industry. He also serves as a board member of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Development Corp.

Seven changes to the board of directors for the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce, an affiliate of the Chamber of Business and Industry, also were announced.

Thomas E. Lawson, executive vice president of Borton-Lawson Engineering and previous vice-chair of the Chamber of Commerce, has become the new chairman of the Chamber of Commerce board.

The Chamber of Commerce also announced six other appointments to the board including. The newest members of the board are:

Attorney Richard M. Williams, a principal at Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn in Kingston.

James Bobeck, executive director and chief executive officer of Step-by-Step Inc. in Wilkes-Barre.

Dr. Patricia Donohue, president of Luzerne County Community College.

Elizabeth B. Graham, a principal and chief operating officer of Riggs Asset Management Company Inc.

Carol K. Keup, chief operating officer for Valley Distributing and Storage Co.

Marilyn Santarelli, executive director of the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts.

Eileen R. Melone, a real estate broker and owner of Eileen R. Melone Real Estate, was added to the board of directors of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Development Corp.

The development corporation owns, develops and manages area business parks. Melone previously served on the board of Chamber of Commerce.
