Attorneys in the News — Arthur L. Piccone
Piccone receives Dickinson Law Lifetime Achievement Award

Arthur L. Piccone, a partner in the Wilkes-Barre law firm of Hourigan, Kiuger & Quinn, P.C., recently received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the General Alumni Association (GAA) of The Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University.

Piccone, a 1958 graduate of the Law School, was honored for a lifetime of service to his profession, community, and Law School. He was president of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) in 1995-96 and is currently president of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation.

He has served as a delegate to the American Bar Association since 1995 and is a lifetime
member of the PBA House of Delegates. Piccone also has been active with the Pennsylvania
County Conference of Bar Leaders, of which he was president in 1986-87; the Luzerne County Bar
Association, of which he was president in 1980-81; and the PBAs Corporate Banking & Business Law Section.

He received the PBAs Presidents Award in 1997.

He has served as a member of the Law Schools Board of Trustees since 1984 and is a past president of the GAA, past president of the Northeast PA Alumni Chapter, and has served as a class agent and representative. He received the GAAs Outstanding Alumni Award in 1980. Piccone is a 1955 graduate of Dickinson College.
