At a luncheon to be held in conjunction with the Annual Bench Bar Conference on November 6, 2008, Allan M. Kluger will receive the coveted President’s Award from the Luzerne County Bar Association. This is an Award which has been presented only 6 times in the past and is given to an individual who has worked “unselfishly and untiringly in advancing the highest standards of integrity and ethics of the legal profession.” There are other stated criteria including the fact that the recipient must be an individual who “the entire Bar Association would be proud to have as a recipient of the Award.”

The President of the Luzerne County Bar Association determines whether or not the Award will be given each year. Once the President decides to present the Award, it must have the approval of the Association’s Executive Committee. We are quite proud of Allan M. Kluger’s selection. Two of the 6 previous recipients are Arthur L. Piccone and Richard M. Goldberg.
